Review for Lentas Maravillas; a fantastic place for lunch while visiting Colonia del Sacremento

If you are strolling around Colonia del Sacremento for the day and want a break from your standard meat-filled lunch, then you should try Lentas Maravillas.  The menu is very limited to sandwiches but they are all made with fresh, thoughtful ingredients and on fresh bread from a nearby baker.  The best part of this place, however, is the beautiful interior, tranquil garden and friendly owner.  You feel transported to another place and time when you sit in the garden and wait for your handmade sandwich to come to you.  They also have artesenal beer and fresh juices, which were both equally delicious.  The dessert list looks tempting and they serve real coffee, which is a rarity in these parts.  You won’t be disappointed if you choose to lunch at Lentas Maravillas.
