Anuva wine tasting in Buenos Aires

Anuva wine tasting located in Buenos Aires hip Palermo Soho neighborhood, came highly recommended. It’s easy to see why. You enter a non-descript door and as you ascend the stairs, you find yourself in an airy loft with a table impeccably set for a wine tasting with food pairings. Your host, Cara, is a wealth of information and peppers the tasting with a bit of British wit while she tells you about the exclusive wines that you get to taste. You will taste 2 whites and 3 reds and there are small bites of food that are paired with each wine. Cara will answer any questions you have about the wines, which are exclusive because of their small production. Most of the wines are not available in markets but you are free to make a purchase at the end of the tasting if you wish but there is no pressure to do so. We met some great people who shared the table with us, there were six of us in total. We planned to visit Cafayate & Mendoza, the wine growing regions in Argentina, so for us this was a perfect introduction of what was to come. If you do not have a chance to visit these regions, it’s the perfect place to get a taste without leaving Buenos Aires. Highly recommended.
